GEMS International Trading recently participated in 26th Textile Asia Fair held at th Karachi Expo Centre and exhibited products of igus GmbH, Germany. Textile Asia Textile Machinery Exhibition is the most promising and enduring biannual Textile Industry Show in Pakistan. The three day fair was held from March 1 to March 3, 2024.

The 17th Build Asia Exhibition, Pakistan’s number one International Building Machinery and Construction Machinery Show was held at the Expo Centre in Karachi. The three day exhibition was held in five halls with a total indoor area of 15,000 sq m. GEMS International Trading showcased the products of igus, Germany which included e-chains, cables and bearings. Potential and existing customers visited the stall and showed interest in the motion plastics presented at the stall under the motto "Tech up, Cost down. It's our job".

The 24th edition of International Textile Asia Trade Fair which is the most promising and enduring Textile Industry Show in Pakistan was held from March 10 to 12, 2023 at the Expo Centre, Karachi. GEMS International Trading participated in the fair as an exhibitor to display products of igus® GmbH. Representative of more than 100 organizations visited the stall and were informed and updated about the range of igus ® plastics e-chains, flexible cables and bearings.

The product range of lubrication-free igus drylin® linear guides is based on the principle of "gliding instead of rolling". In combination with corrosion-free materials, tribo-optimised iglidurR high performance polymers are used as a sliding surface. drylin® linear guides traverse in dry operation and are thereby maintenance-free and are insensitive to influences such as dirt, water, chemicals, heat or impacts. In addition, they have a very low noise because of the materials used and the special design. With these properties, drylin® linear guides can be used in a wide variety of environments, including extreme ones. The modular system allows for high flexibility with different rail guides and pillow blocks. Compared to linear solutions with rolling elements, the acquisition costs are up to 40% lower and there are no additional operating costs.

Profile guides of the drylin® T type are dimensionally identical to the usual lubricated ball guides. In contrast, noise is reduced with the drylin® T guides, as is the surface pressure due to the larger contact surface between the guide and the profile rail. In the heavy-duty version, the slides have a very firm hold in the carriage body. The drylin® T carriage guides can handle loads up to 14,000N, are extremely resistant to dirt and have a very long service life. "That's another advantage of igus products - they're all lubrication-free and therefore ideal for our application. The customer never has to lubricate, so no dust sticks to the guides and no abrasive paste can form.
